UTC campus police have ordered evacuation of Grote, Holt and the University Center and surrounding area.
University officials evacuated the buildings about 12:30 p.m. after a a bomb threat was reported, UTC spokesman Chuck Cantrell said.
Students remained outside the two academic buildings and student union for some time.
“UTC and bomb threats,” muttered senior Meredith Lindley, who was in a psychology test when the alarm begin.
Another student in the same class, junior Mary Moore, estimated that she’s had an average of one bomb threat per semester during her time at UTC.

esaletnik had posted before we knew there was a bomb threat. All the article said earlier was that they were evacuating, but did not list the reason.
