A 76-year-old Gilmer County, Ga., man has been charged with killing his wife early this morning.
An emergency call came in about 4 a.m. claiming 67-year-old Barbara Bossa had been killed in a home invasion at the Coosawattee River Resort, Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Frank Copeland said.
But after investigators arrived the story didn’t match the crime scene, Copeland said. When Bossa’s husband, Donald, was interviewed he confessed to killing his wife, Copeland said.
Donald Bossa has been charged with murder and is being held in the Gilmer County Jail, he said.
The case is being investigated by the sheriff’s office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
