Erlanger trustees move ahead on health center replacement in Chattanooga

The board of trustees at Erlanger Health System voted tonight to look for someone who can build a new Southside Community Health Center and lease it back to the hospital system.

The present center is in the ancient and crumbling former Franklin Middle School. Erlanger trustees discussed a replacement facility costing under $900,000 that they could pay for in 15 years.
