“I think fashion is an outward expression of who you are on the inside. Though it sounds cliche, it’s totally true. It’s a way of representing yourself from the first moment someone meets you. They can tell by the way you’re dressed if you’re fun and crazy or more reserved. I think trends are important and can be fun, but I think one thing people need to remember is not to let trends overtake who you are. It’s important to know your own style. Choosing a few trendy pieces is key. I’m a huge fan of fashion magazines. I get 10 a month and read them from cover to cover. It doesn’t mean I’ll go buy all the trends, but I will choose what compliments my look.”
