• Name: Washington Square

• Location: 1700 block of Rossville Avenue

• Status: One townhome is about 30 percent complete out of 12 planned townhomes. The first unit should be complete in May, with two more scheduled to start after that.

• Price: Townhomes will cost between $345,000 and $385,000, for about 2,800 square feet of space. Units contain three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and two-car garage. A small, unfinished basement adjacent to the garage can serve as a work area or man cave.

• Features: The first level includes the kitchen at the back of the floor and a large living area at the entrance. The upstairs bedroom area contains a sitting area or den. The exterior is made from brick and stucco, while inside materials include hardwood floors on first level, carpet upstairs, tiled bathrooms and kitchen. Condo owners can choose between granite or quartz countertops, select appliances from an allowance and choose whether to install an optional elevator. Other features include a balcony above the front door, a private courtyard on end units and a small deck for cooking.

• Fees: There are no asso-ciation or maintenance fees.

• Amenities: To add a residential flavor to the formerly industrial area, developers will add a pocket park with bronze heron fountain and sculpture display. Leyland cyprus trees at rear fence line will shield the development from nearby industrial areas, and heavy landscaping will add soundproofing for the homes. The townhomes offer an easy walk up to Main Street, and the townhomes offer more space than comparable units. An extra-large walk-in pantry allows plenty of storage, and a bonus first-floor space allows for a home office or wet bar.
