Emergency personnel needed nearly a half hour to extricate a woman from a car after the vehicle left the road and hit a tree Saturday morning, reports Janice Atkinson of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
Driver Misty Szekely was flown to Erlanger, where she remains in critical condition.
She crashed her Buick Regal in the 5800 block of Hunter Road just after 9 a.m. Officers believe that speed was a factor in the crash, Atkinson said.
