Emergency personnel needed nearly half an hour to free a woman from a car after the vehicle left the road and hit a tree Saturday morning, Janice Atkinson of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said.
Driver Misty Szekely was flown to Erlanger, where was listed in critical condition.
She crashed her Buick Regal in the 5800 block of Hunter Road just after 9 a.m. Officers believe that speed was a factor in the crash, Atkinson said.
