Ronnie Joe Long

A week after Dalton Police say a man assaulted an elderly man and stole his pants, the suspect, Ronnie Joe Long, has been found and taken into custody.

Long, 44, was arrested without incident on Saturday evening after an officer on patrol spotted him walking down Frederick Street. He was wanted for robbery, burglary, simple assault and theft.

Investigators say early in the morning on March 18, Long knocked on a door at Whitfield Commons on Hawthorne Street.
