Raynor to head BlueCross strategy

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has appointed Carla Raynor as vice president of strategic marketing for all lines of business.

In this role, Raynor will direct enterprisewide marketing strategy with a focus on consumer, group and ancillary products.

She has more than 17 years of professional experience. Most recently at Hilton Worldwide, she held the position of vice president of brand marketing, Extended Stay Brands, where she launched Hilton's most recent brand, Home2 Suites by Hilton.

"We found Carla to be a dynamic, forward thinker, who is focused on delivering positive outcomes," said Henry Smith, senior vice president, operations and chief marketing officer for BlueCross.

Raynor holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

PM Pediatrics adds Skiwski

PM Pediatrics, a Chattanooga after-hours pediatric urgent care clinic, has named Marie Skiwski as its director of operations.

Skiwski will oversee the daily business operations of the company's two Chattanooga clinics, according to the company's medical director, Dr. Luis Sanabria.

Skiwski relocated from Columbus, Miss., where she was CEO of a pediatric medical practice. She has experience in administration, finance, training and human resources.

Vision Group wins three awards

Chattanooga-based Vision Hospitality Group Inc. was presented three prestigious awards from Hilton Worldwide at Vision's Spring Leadership Conference March 25-27 in Chattanooga for outstanding achievements.

The winners, selected by Hilton Worldwide, uphold the company's standards of excellence in various criteria: renovation, conversion, development, project management, community impact and investments.

McCandless added as coordinator

Christ Presbyterian Church and Academy in Nashville has added Sarah McCandless to the academy's staff as communications coordinator.

She is originally from Chattanooga, a graduate of Girls Preparatory School and a 2006 graduate of Clemson University, where she majored in English and communications.

She previously served as account coordinator at Brentwood Communications.

Hutton Company cites Alexandris

Chattanooga-based Hutton Co. has promoted George Alexandris to vice president of development.

Alexandris most recently served as director of development for the Hutton Co. Prior to joining the Hutton team, he served as a development project manager for a large commercial development firm in Florida.

"George has exemplified the dedication to provide our retail clients with the highest level of service, which is the core mission of our team," says Geoff Smith, president of Hutton Co.

Miller & Martin adds Archibald

Miller & Martin PLLC has added Lynzi J. Archibald as an associate of the litigation department in its Chattanooga office.

"Lynzi is a wonderful addition to our litigation team," said Travis McDonough, co-chair of the litigation department in the Chattanooga office.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Archibald graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2008.

She was awarded the Virginia Law Scholarship and graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2011. While in law school, she participated in the Non-Profit Pro Bono Clinic and Criminal Defense Clinic.
