• 6 p.m.: "Food Stamped," Gaining Ground, 55 E. Main St. The Arts & Education Council's Back Row Film Series will present a special screening of a one-hour documentary that follows a couple as they attempt to eat a healthy, well-balanced diet on a food-stamp budget. $10.
• 8 p.m.: Colonel Bruce Hampton & Two Mama, Barking Legs Theater, 1307 Dodds Ave. Hampton is a legend in certain music circles and will be joined by Dennis Palmer, Davey Williams and Aj Ghent. $18.
