Bryson Baker, Meigs County: He went 3-for-4 in the Tigers' 12-2 baseball win over McMinn Central.

Braxton Reese, Signal Mountain: He allowed no hits through five innings and finished with a two-hitter in the Eagles' 5-1 district defeat of Sequatchie County.

Bobby Towne, Walker Valley: He went to 7-0 for the season and kept his 0.00 earned run average intact with eight strikeouts in the Mustangs' 7-0 win over McMinn County.

Chae Butler, Tyner: He struck out nine, improving to 4-3 for the season, as the Rams knocked off Hixson 4-1.

Austin Parrish, Ringgold: He improved to 7-0 with a one-hitter in the Tigers' 10-0 victory over Southeast Whitfield.

Jake Leffew, Soddy-Daisy: He went 2-for-3 with two RBIs as the Trojans came from behind to nip 5-AAA rival Ooltewah 3-2.

Kacee Hedrick, Whitwell: She pitched a three-hitter and went 3-for-3 with three RBIs in an 11-1 softball victory over Silverdale Baptist.

Kaitlyn Eldridge, Grace Academy: She went 5-for-6 with two homers, a triple, two doubles and eight RBIs in her team's 14-0 and 12-2 wins over Copper Basin.

Rachel Watkins, East Ridge: She struck out eight in her team's 2-0 victory over Red Bank.

Cassi Pickett, Baylor: She had two hits and an RBI as the Lady Red Raiders nipped Ooltewah 5-4.

Katie Hass, Boyd-Buchanan: She banged out three hits in four at-bats, knocking in four runs and scoring two, in the Lady Buccaneers' 13-3 victory over Signal Mountain.
