Several families are homeless after a Saturday evening fire at the Legacy of Dalton Apartments.
Dispatchers said that the fire was reported around 8:30 p.m. at 2108 Club Drive near the Interstate 75 and Chattanooga Road junction.
The blaze reached six to eight units, affecting upward of 25 residents, dispatchers said.
No one was injured. The cause and extent of the fire is under investigation.
