Residents can bring unused and unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications for proper disposal by law enforcement officials to the Drug Disposal Program from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.

Drug disposal will be held at the East Chattanooga Improvement Office at 1502 McCallie Ave. Items that will not be accepted include sharps, needles, IV bags and radioactive medications.
