A Lookout Mountain, Tenn., woman has filed a protective order against her doctor husband after tests showed a toxic substance was found in her coffee.

According to the order filed Friday, Liesa Hill had been experiencing severe health issues for several months before seeing her husband, Dr. Hal Hill, put an unidentified substance in her morning coffee in March.

She then contacted police, who collected samples of the coffee for testing. Test results showed that there were extreme levels of the toxic heavy metal Barium in the coffee sample.

Police told Liesa Hill that her previous health issues were consistent with metal poisoning.

Dr. Hill is a physician with Infectious Disease Physicians of Chattanooga, LLC. The couple has two children.

Police have indicated in the order that an investigation into Dr. Hill's alleged activities is ongoing. No criminal charges had been filed as of today.
