Hamilton County Commissioners voted 7-2 against a resolution that would have approved the architect selection for a new East Brainerd Elementary School.
The resolution before commissioners this morning would have rescinded one they passed in June halting the selection process until the schools brought to commissioners a building plan.
Commissioners did not take issue with the selection of TWH Architects, but instead spent their time discussing whether to rescind their previous requirement of the schools.
