Polk victims' names released

The Polk County Sheriff's Office on Sunday released the names of the three people who were killed in Friday's triple homicide in Copperhill, Tenn.

Meth lab found in Red Bank

The Tennessee Meth Task Force was called to a Red Bank home Saturday after a methamphetamine lab was discovered in a stolen travel trailer.

Red Bank police responded to a Joyce Avenue address about a possible stolen vehicle Saturday, according to a news release by Police Chief Tim Christol.

They saw a man run inside the front door and exit through a rear window. Officers chased the man but didn't catch him, the release said.

A Mitsubishi SUV and 32-foot travel trailer, plus two motorcycles, an ATV and a 12-gauge shotgun -- all of which had been reported as stolen -- were located at the residence.

An investigation of the trailer revealed it housed an active meth lab, Christol said.

The Chattanooga Police Department, along with the Tennessee Meth Task Force, assisted Red Bank Police.

An investigation is ongoing.
