A Polk County man arrested on three counts of first-degree murder is accused of killing his uncle, aunt and cousin over a property line dispute, authorities say.

George Steven Waters, 33, is slated to make his first appearance in court on Wednesday, according to Polk County officials.

Wanda Waters, 59, her husband, Willard Waters, 61, and their son, Marion "Doug" Waters, 40, were slain in the Grassy Creek community, where many members of the Waters family live, officials said.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office said the investigation is ongoing and the Tennesssee Bureau of Investigation is assisting.
