Couple injured in Bradley County motorcycle wreck

A husband and wife were seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Cleveland, Tenn., Friday night.

Bradley County emergency personnel responded to the 1700 block of South Lee Highway at 8:10 p.m., spokesperson Stan Clark said.

He said the motorcycle collided with a stopped vehicle and the two riders - husband and wife - were ejected and landed in the road.

The woman was airlifted to Erlanger and is in serious condition. The man was taken by ambulance to Sky Ridge Medical Center and is in stable condition.

The people in the car were not injured, Clark said. Cleveland police temporarily closed South Lee Highway to respond to the accident.

The victims' names are not being released at this time.
