Four Chattanooga pitchers combined to allow just four hits Monday night at AT&T Field as the Lookouts whipped Jackson 6-1 to square the series at two games apiece.

Chattanooga improved to 37-27 and leads the Generals (34-30) by three games with six games remaining in the Southern League's North Division second-half race.

The game was tied at 1 in the fourth inning, when Jake Lemmerman opened the home half with a home run to left field. Luis Nunez followed with a double to left, and then J.T. Wise drew a walk and Blake Smith reached on a bunt single to load the bases.

C.J. Retherford drew a walk to make it 3-1, and a one-out sacrifice fly to center by Nick Buss capped the three-run inning.

Chattanooga took a 5-1 lead in the fifth when Lemmerman drew a one-out walk and scored on a Nunez double to left.

Zach Lee pitched six innings and allowed three hits and a run while striking out six. Former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Rubby De La Rosa returned to the Lookouts and worked a 1-2-3 seventh inning.

De La Rosa still is expected to go to the Boston Red Sox as a "player to be named" along with former Lookouts outfielder Jerry Sands in the big weekend trade, but they did not clear waivers to be in the deal immediately.

The Lookouts play their final regular-season home game today at 2:15.
