Bill Payne will speak about Fair Tax issues to the Nightside Pachyderm Club Thursday night at 6:30 p.m.
The Fair Tax movement seeks to replace the U.S. federal income tax system with a flat national sales tax.
The club meets at 6021 Relocation Way in Ooltewah at the Western Sizzlin. Dinner starts at 6 p.m., and all are invited. A food purchase isn't required.
The Pachyderm Club of Hamilton County will not meet Monday, Sept. 3 because of the Labor Day holiday.
