The man whose body was pulled from Chickamauga Lake died of drowning and there is no evidence of foul play in the death, authorities said.
Two men in a boat near Lakesite Marina spotted the body Sunday. Authorities later said the man was Eric C. Warnock. No other information, such as age or address, has been released.
Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said the medical examiner’s report found he died of drowning and there is “no creditable evidence or information that would indicate the death was a result of foul play.”
