A Tunnel Hill man was indicted on 20 charges after police said he doused his wife and his house in petroleum and threatened to light her on fire.

Calvin Havner is accused of shoving his wife, Angie, to the ground in early October in front of his two young daughters and threatening to kill her, according to an indictment.

A Catoosa County Grand Jury indicted Havner Wednesday afternoon on charges including, four counts of aggravated assault, three counts of false imprisonment and three counts of terroristic threats.

Havner's attorney McCracken Poston said Havner is having a physiological and incompetence test to see if he suffers from any mental problems.

"It's a really sad story," Poston said. "Because the guy has had a life full of horrific trauma and tragedy."
