Baylor senior Lauren Johnson received a perfect score of 36 on her ACT this year, Baylor School officials announced Wednesday.

Only 781 of more than 1.6 million high school students in the class of 2012 earned the top score on the college entrance exam.

The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science. Each component is scored on a scale of 1 through 36 and a student's composite score is an average of all four subject area scores.
