Cold shooting dooms Lady Mocs

There will be no Southeastern Conference sweep for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women’s basketball team. Auburn built a big lead early and UTC was never able to knock down enough shots to close the gap Wednesday night in Auburn, Ala.

The Tigers (9-2) handed the Lady Mocs (8-2) their second loss of the season, 53-40, at Auburn Arena. UTC shot 27.3 percent from the field and was 4 of 31 from 3-point range.
