The Chattanooga Lookouts will have a new coaching lineup for 2013.

After being managed by Carlos Subero the past three seasons, the Class AA affiliates of the Los Angeles Dodgers will be led by former major league second baseman Jody Reed. Hector Berrios will be Chattanooga's new pitching coach, while Orv Franchuk will be the hitting coach.

Reed, the infield coordinator for the Dodgers organization last season, played in the majors from 1987 to '97. He was a career .270 hitter and drove in 392 runs. He was with the Boston Red Sox from '87 to '92 before stints with Los Angeles ('93), Milwaukee ('94), San Diego ('95-96) and Detroit ('97).

Before becoming infield coordinator, Reed was manager of the year in the Arizona League in 2011 with the Dodgers and in the Gulf Coast League in 2007, when he was with the New York Yankees organization.

Subero is now the manager of Rancho Cucamonga, the high Single-A affiliate of the Dodgers in the California League. He had been accompanied the past two seasons in Chattanooga by pitching coach Chuck Crim and hitting coach Franklin Stubbs.

Crim was promoted last month to bullpen coach of the Dodgers, while Stubbs recently was named hitting coach for Triple-A Albuquerque.
