Local stalwarts Milele Roots host Reggae Christmas Party at Rhythm & Brews

The first word in the name of dub/reggae/funk band Milele Roots is Swahili for “eternal,” which is appropriate for a band that has been around in one form or another for 15 years.

On Friday, the band, under the leadership of bassist Christian Craan, will be offering a Reggae Christmas Party at Rhythm & Brews at 221 Market St. Music will start at 10 p.m. and the cover is $5. For more information, call 267-4644 or visit www.rhythm-brews.com.
