University of Tennessee at Chattanooga offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield is leaving the Mocs after four seasons to run the Temple University offense.

Satterfield came in with Mocs coach Russ Huesman in 2009 and helped turn around a UTC offense that ranked among the worst in the FCS in 2008. Statistically, Satterfield's best season with UTC came in 2010, when the Mocs, led by quarterback B.J. Coleman, ranked third in the Southern Conference in scoring (31.5 points per game) and total offense (430.0 ypg).

In 2012, after Coleman was drafted by the Green Bay Packers and UTC switched to a spread system, UTC ranked fifth in the SoCon in scoring (25.5 ppg) and eighth in total offense (349.8 ypg).

Huesman said tonight that he has already begun reaching out to potential candidates and he said he hopes to have a new offensive coordinator in place by mid January.
