Rhea County, Crime Stoppers seek man in attempted-murder case

The Rhea County Sheriff's Office and Crime Stoppers are searching for a man charged with attempted first-degree murder and reckless endangerment.

Cornell Wilson, 26, shot at a person and missed during a Dec. 12 incident, according to the Rhea County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said they believe Wilson, who is 6 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds, is hiding in the Dayton, Tenn., area. His last known address is 138 Lower Fine Lane, Apartment 3, Dayton, Tenn.

Anyone with information on Wilson's whereabouts could be eligible for a confidential cash reward up $1,000. Call 423-698-3333.
