Tullahoma man pleads guilty to child porn charges

A 40-year-old Tullahoma man has pleaded guilty to downloading child pornography.

Denver Cole faces between five and 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 at his May 21 sentencing hearing.

On July 26, 2011, a federal grand jury indicted Cole on 24 child pornography counts related to sharing photographs and videos available on the Internet, according to court documents.

Winchester, Tenn., police began an undercover online investigation of Cole in August 2010, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office release.

Tullahoma police, along with Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Federal Bureau of Investigation agents, contributed to the ultimate seizure of Cole’s computers and other digital media.
