Another type of voter fraud

As the Obama administration wrongly continues to oppose states' photo ID requirements -- rules meant to combat voter fraud -- another type of voter fraud is being embraced in New Haven, Conn.

The mayor of New Haven wants to extend voting rights to illegal aliens and other people who are not lawfully entitled to vote.

Democrat Mayor John DeStefano has already conferred false legitimacy on illegal aliens by giving them "resident cards," and he has forbidden police to ask people about their immigration status. Those misguided actions earned for New Haven a reputation as a "sanctuary city" for illegal aliens.

But DeStefano also wants illegal immigrants to be able to cast ballots in local elections.

Outrageous! That not only rewards illegal aliens for their lawbreaking, but it also negates the legitimate votes of U.S. citizens.

Virtually no one suggests trying to round up and deport the millions of illegal aliens in the United States today. But that is no reason to encourage still more illegal immigration with unwise government policies.

Given the dismal turnouts for our elections, why not let those who are interested enough to make the effort do the voting.

This reminds me of the insanity of Michael Dukakis and the Demoncrats in Taxachusetts allowing all convicts, even murderers and rapists the right to vote. Did you ever notice that the lawless vote for Demoncrats?

LibDem, are you kidding me?

That type of logic is why the term liberal is synonymous with lunacy.

What value is their in citizenship to you liberals and letists? Apparently not much, except when it comes to being taken care of like babies.

I think it's extremely appropriate that it's come out that Obama and his wife held an Alice in Wonderland party at the White House at the height of the financial crisis and when unemployment was at its highest level. It's a mad house with Obama in charge. Those who disrespect our Constitution and are law breakers are held in higher esteem than citizens who pay their taxes.

Republicans most certainly have not come through, but the insane and the lawless have a permanent home in the Democratic Party.

It seems as if the "flies" turn out to defend their crappy effort to depress the voters who "just Might" vote for the Democratic candidates.

Despite claims from the McCain and Palin campaign and Republican politicos that fraudulent registration applications can lead to massive voter fraud, a member of the McCain-Palin Honest and Open Election Committee said in an interview published by Politico.com that he knew of no case in which a fraudulent voter registration application had led to someone casting a fraudulent vote.
