A wreck on Interstate 59 totally blocked the southbound lanes for about two hours this morning.

Dade County Sheriff Patrick Cannon said a tractor-trailer overturned near Trenton about 9:15 a.m. Two people were transferred to Erlanger hospital, he said, but he didn’t know the extent of their injuries.

The lanes were reopened about 11:15 a.m.
