THE MEXICAN GUN fiasco started under Bush. The recession started under Bush. Blame Obama. What a brainwashing job! This observation from an Independent.

PLEASE, PLEASE! I don't think I can take four more years of "It's George Bush's fault." Geesh!

EXCERPTS FROM Chuck Fleischmann's deposition prove the lengths campaigns go to denouncing the other candidates. Stop believing all the ads. Start thinking for yourself.

TO THOSE WHO sued over prayer, thanks for wasting my tax dollars when it could have been put to better use. We need prayer.

THE COUNTY COMMISSION can stop opposition to their invocation by inviting in turn representatives from every religious denomination listed in TFP's Saturday edition to pray.

SO THE CITY thinks it can run the water company better. Their proof: The riverfront, the sewer system, The Chattanoogan and EPB fiberoptics.

MY HOME VALUE is down, my income down, tax appraisals are coming and the city and county budgets are up. We have not solved anything!

CHATTANOOGA RESIDENTS should indeed worry about their taxes. The council just gave away $9 million in revenue to a developer who didn't even need it.

CITY POLICE CAN retire at 46. Life expectancy is 79. The 33 extra years paid is a debt the same as the mortgage on The Chattanoogan.

IN A PRIVATE company, an employee operating a vehicle while intoxicated would be fired immediately.

TEXTING WHILE driving is worse than drunken driving. At least drunks are trying to drive. Texters have zero interest in driving.

It's not brainwashing. They just have no attention span. See how they can't even remember anything George W. Bush did.

But yes, EPB is a LOT better than Comcast. And if you want to save Tax Dollars, you'd tell the County Commissioners to not play games with a federal court. You may need prayer, in which case you can ask for it from private individuals, but I don't need people in government picking sides.

The County Commissioners will lose the fight over official prayer. If the county attorney hasn't told them that, then he's milking the county for fees. That's where tax money is being wasted -- by the Commission and, perhaps, its advisors.

And why not? No one can deny the truth. You can't blame the good samaritan for coming along and attempting to put out the fire the arsonist started. The fire and any damage remains the fault of the arsonist who originally started the fire.

Yes, facts are facts. And, some missteps (giant errors like the unnecessary and ill-executed invasion of Iraq which metastacized terrorism; like allowing banksters to hollow out the economy; like off-shoring jobs, etc.) have long-term consequences. Life is not an Etch-A-Sketch with immediate re-sets. It will take decades to fix the damage done by Bush's ignorance and incompetence.

Police officer's life expectancy is 58. They usually die of heart problems from stress.

Actually the recession along with mass layoffs started 3 -4 months before OBUMMER was elected, mainly because CNN and the rest of the LIBTARD media had OBUMMER way out in front of John McCain by a Cazillion percentage points. When the people with buisness sense and employers saw this they knew the "common sense impaired" were likely going to take charge and its all been down hill ever since.

Cadman1 refers to "the common sense impaired." Based on the distorted rationale he presents here, it's apparent that he is well-acquainted with that way of "thinking."

If that's what you call business sense...I suggest you have a poor sense of business.
