The incident was captured on surveillance video.

The theft happened about 5:30 a.m. on June 30 at Shearman Machinery on Edwards Drive, said Dalton police spokesman Bruce Frazier. A white pickup truck with a white camper top pulled up next to the trailer and a white male wearing a white tank top T-shirt hooked the trailer to the truck.

Anyone with information on the identity of the man in the video or on this crime is asked to please contact Detective Suzi Thorne with the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office at 706-278-3029.
