Two Grundy County men indicted in separate incidents last week have been arrested by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, according to a news release.

Richard Fults, 33, of Stagecoach Road in Altamont, who last month allegedly tried to knife two deputies trying to serve him with a warrant, was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of attempted second-degree murder and one count of resisting arrest, according to the TBI news release.

One of the deputies shot Fults in the confrontation, and the TBI investigated that shooting, spokeswoman Kristin Helm said in the release.

The other arrest was Wayne Charles Green, 26, of Tram Road in Tracy City. Helm said Green was indicted on one count of theft over $60,000 in connection money missing from his former employer, Basham Industries. Green was working as a bookkeeper for Basham Industries when the theft occurred, the release stated.

Fults and Green were both being held in the Grundy County Jail pending a July 20 bond hearing.
