Funeral set for Usher's ex-stepson after accident

ATLANTA - Funeral arrangements have been set for the ex-stepson of Grammy-winning pop star Usher, three weeks after the child was critically injured in a boating accident.

A spokesman for the Willie A. Watkins funeral home tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the funeral for 11-year-old Kile Glover will be held Friday at Wieuca Road Baptist Church in Atlanta. He was a son of Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster.

Kile died Saturday morning at an Atlanta area hospital.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources said Kile was run over July 6 by a personal watercraft on Lake Lanier, which is about 40 mile northeast of Atlanta. He had been hospitalized with a major brain injury.

Social media sites were flooded late Saturday by numerous celebrities from Justin Bieber, Toni Braxton and Eric Benet.
