Jack Benson represents District 4, which includes Concord, East Brainerd, Ooltewah, Summit and Tyner. Benson retired after 35 years with the Chattanooga Public School System as a teacher and principal. He was first elected in 2001. Benson holds a bachelor’s degree from Peabody at Vanderbilt, a master’s of education from the University of Chattanooga and completed postgraduate work at the University of Tennessee.
