Choo Choo Dog Camp is now offering training, grooming and pet sitting services tailored to clients' needs, said Liz Fortanier, owner of the business on West 20th Street.

The facility's primary goal is to provide the best no-barking, stress-free and secure environment, she said. At Choo Choo Dog Camp, dogs run, play and socialize in 7,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor play areas.

Fortanier is a Pat Miller-certified trainer and a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

"If you choose not to leave your children at home, why do that to your dog?" Fortanier said in a news release. "Dogs can't wait to get here (Choo Choo Dog Camp). They drag their owners inside. The dogs love the recycled tire floor mats for playing and running. The humans like the cleanness and the bright colors. It's a wonderful experience for everyone."
