• Salon Show Opening: "Maritime: A Summer Salon Show" will open Thursday, July 12, at Shuptrine's Gold Leaf Designs, 2646 Broad St. The opening is from 5 to 7 p.m. The gallery will be closed through July 8.

• Architectural Tour of Frist Center: Join a docent at the Frist Center to take a free architectural tour of the Nashville museum on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. CDT. Meet in the Frist Center's Grand Lobby. The tour, which is offered the first Saturday of each month, is being held in conjunction with Nashville's First Saturday Art Crawl.

• Last Call in Calhoun: This is the final week to see "Four Female Friends" at Harris Art Center, 212 S. Wall St., in Calhoun, Ga. The exhibit of work by art educators associated with Columbus State University closes Thursday. Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Admission is free. 706-629-2599.
