A Meigs County man injured in a head-on crash on March 6 died over the weekend in a Chattanooga hospital, authorities say.

James Aszman, 82, was airlifted from the crash in the 6500 block of Georgetown Road in Bradley County to Erlanger hospital, according to Bradley County Sheriff's Office spokesman Bob Gault.

Aszman is the fourth traffic-related death in Bradley County this year, he said.

Traffic investigators for the Bradley County Sheriff's Office are still investigating to determine the cause of the crash involving cars driven by Aszman and Brenda Bacon, 66, of Georgetown, Gault said.

A passenger in Bacon's car was injured and both were treated at SkyRidge Medical Center in Cleveland, Tenn., he said.
