The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will hold an open forum today to present the latest draft of the campus master plan.

The forum is set at 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center, 200 M.L. King Blvd.

As UTC looks ahead for the next 10 to 20 years, its master plan will address enrollment growth, new facilities and the way the university connects with neighborhoods, school officials said in an email.

The forum will provide an opportunity for questions and comments on the draft of the UTC master plan.

"We'll even discuss the 'p' word -- parking!" said Richard Brown, chief financial officer and senior vice chancellor for finance, operations and information technology at UTC.

This will be the second master plan for UTC.

"Since the master plan in 2000 was completed, more than $400 million in new capital improvements were made on the UTC campus," said Brown. "I am hoping in the next 10 years we can do the same."
