An 82-year-old man from Meigs County, Tenn., who was injured in a head-on crash March 6 died over the weekend in a Chattanooga hospital, authorities say.

James Aszman was airlifted from the crash site in the 6500 block of Georgetown Road in Bradley County to Erlanger hospital, according to Bradley County Sheriff's Office spokesman Bob Gault.

Aszman is the fourth traffic-related death in Bradley County this year, he said.

Traffic investigators for the sheriff's office still are investigating to determine the cause of the crash involving cars driven by Aszman and Brenda Bacon, 66, of Georgetown, Gault said.

He said a passenger in Bacon's car was hurt and both were treated at SkyRidge Medical Center in Cleveland, Tenn.
