Fun fact: Walden is home to Falling Water Falls, a small wilderness park and hiking area 10 miles north of downtown Chattanooga. The 132-acre park boasts a 110-foot high waterfall that plunges into the Falling Water Gorge.
Famous resident: Adolf Ochs (1858-1935), former owner of The New York Times and The Chattanooga Times, had a summer home in Walden.
