A Memphis man convicted of raping an elderly woman after breaking into her home was sentenced to 90 years in prison this morning.
Raymond Denton, who has 13 prior felony convictions, was sentenced to 60 years with no parole for aggravated rape and 15 years each for aggravated burglary and abuse of a vulnerable adult.
Criminal Court Judge Chris Craft ruled that the sentences should be run consecutively to prevent Denton from preying on others.
