Myeloma meeting

The Multiple Myeloma Networking Group meets tonight at 6 p.m. at Memorial Center for Cancer Support, Memorial Plaza Building, Suite 307, 605 Glenwood Drive (next to Memorial Hospital). Will discuss the latest drugs under review by the FDA and services provided by Memorial Center for cancer support. Complimentary dinner served. Boot camp for dads

A boot camp for dads will be held at Erlanger East (Gunbarrel Road), 9 a.m.-noon Saturday. First-time dads can learn how to help the new mom. Topics include diapering, feeding, why babies cry and how to handle it. Learn about postpartum depression and hands-on infant care. A new "veteran" dad is invited (along with his baby) to the class for question-and-answer time. Call Erlanger's HealthLink at 778-5465 to register.

CHEO meeting

The Complimentary Health Education Organization meeting will be held Sunday, 2-4 p.m., at Eastgate Mall, 5600 Brainerd Road. Speaker is Dr. John Standridge, founder of Personal Medicine & Personal Wellness. Demonstrations given to show how nutrition, massage, Reiki and zumba contribute to improved health. Abdominal aortic aneurysm screening

Free screening for men and women 65 or older, to detect bulge in artery wall, with no previous diagnosis of abdominal aortic aneurysm, and no abdominal CT in the past five years. Autism camp

Creative Discovery Museum's "Friends Discovery Camp 2012: Tinkering Around" offers children ages 7-10, with or without autism, the opportunity to make new friends while having fun in a safe environment, 8:30 a.m.-12 noon, June 4-15. Reservations required for camp; payment due upon registration. The $160 fee includes a free one-year membership or renewal of current membership through June 2013. Weight-loss surgery

A wellness summit will be held June 10-11 at Southern Adventist University. Lee University will host its 10th annual Southeastern Autism Symposium "Diamonds Are Forever ...
