Matthew Dotson told a deputy he hadn't seen his two sons awake "in many days" and was hardly at the Lerchen Road trailer where the family lives, Deputy Victor Swymer's report indicates.
Dotson, 26, spoke to the deputy about three hours after his wife, Amanda Dotson, 25, had taken their son's body to Fort Loudoun Medical Center in Lenoir City early May 3.
