Chattanooga Lookouts pitchers churned out the strikeouts Friday night. They also delivered plenty of walks in a 4-3, 11-inning loss to the Huntsville Stars at AT&T Field.

The game was tied at 3 after five innings and stayed that way until the top of the 11th, when Lookouts reliever Geison Aguasviva walked four batters, including one for the go-ahead run with the bases loaded.

Down 4-3, Chattanooga had the bases loaded with nobody out in the bottom of the inning against Stars reliever Jesus Sanchez. Two line-drive outs later, Nick Buss's ground ball to second base ended the game.

A quintet of Lookouts hurlers combined for a season-high 19 strikeouts, surpassing the previous high of 15. They also combined for 12 walks, eclipsing the previous high of nine.

The Stars (23-18) had seven hits to 11 by the Lookouts (19-23), but all those walks gave Huntsville the extra chances it needed.

Lookouts starter Matt Magill struck out the side twice and finished with 10 strikeouts and six walks in 4 1/3 innings. He also allowed five hits and three earned runs.

After Magill gave up two runs in the first, the Lookouts drew even in the second when Travis Denker led off with a single and scored on a Pedro Baez triple off the wall in center field. That was followed by an RBI groundout by Blake Smith that tied the game at 2.

Prince, the Stars center fielder, crashed into the wall on the triple, damaging one of the black wooden panels. The game was delayed for a few minutes before the third inning as the Lookouts field crew replaced the panel, which had a big hole in it.

With the bases loaded after three walks in the 11th, Aguasviva walked Gibbons on a 3-1 pitch for a 4-3 Huntsville lead. A single, a walk and a hit batter loaded the bases for the Lookouts against Sanchez, but the Stars held on for the win.

Chris Withrow (1-1, 5.19 ERA) is scheduled to start tonight's 7:15 game for the Lookouts, with Tyler Thornburg (5-0, 1.91) set to go for Stars. Postgame fireworks scheduled for Friday are reset for tonight.
