Retired patrolmen help Baptist Children's Home
What: Members of the Retired Tennessee Highway Patrol made a donation of $2,000 to the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home.
Baptist Church holds benefit fashion show
What: Third annual fashion show fundraiser sponsored by the Baptist Church Ladies Ministry to benefit the Greater Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church on East 10th Street.
Where: Mocha Restaurant & Music Lounge at 3116 Brainerd Road.
Fashions: More than 125 people attended. Models wore fall trends from Marshalls, Melrose Boutique, T.J. Maxx and Giorgio Men’s Warehouse. Themes for women included animal prints, black and white pairings, red shoes and boots. For men — black fashions and business/casual attire.
