A woman jumped off a bridge on Interstate 75 near East Brainerd Road on Saturday afternoon, according to Chattanooga Police Sgt. Wayne Jefferson.
The call came in a little before 4 p.m., according to dispatchers.
The woman was conscious after the jump and was taken to a hospital, Jefferson said.
No information on the woman's identity or motive was available Saturday.
