Jazzy Little Christmas calls for 'Snow'

The Arts Center, 320 N. White St., in Athens, Tenn., will present two nights of Jazzy Little Christmas VII on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 30-Dec. 1.

Light hors d'oeuvres, homemade desserts and a full cash bar will be available at 7 p.m. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the center's Sue E. Trotter Theater.

According to organizers, Jazzy Little Christmas has become a favorite event for music lovers looking for a fun kickoff to the holidays. Directed by Pam Thigpen, who is also performing, the evening features local musicians singing and playing their favorite Christmas tunes cabaret-style. This year's theme is "Snow."

Other performers are Pam Thigpen, Jennifer Kinard, Janet Martin, Sarah Baumgardner, Art Kimball, Tim Frazier, Lindsey Nunley, Ellen Kimball, Rusty Patterson, Josh Bragg, Andrew Kimball, Matt Dannel and Christina Sjoberg.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students and are available in advance at www.athensartscouncil.org, by phone at 423-745-8781 and at the box office.

Individual seats or whole tables may be reserved.
