East Ridge voters will have the chance tonight to question the seven candidates running for the city's two available City Council seats.

The East Ridge Education Council is hosting a candidate forum tonight at Spring Creek Elementary School starting at 6:30 p.m.

The forum will be moderated by Chattanooga Times Free Press politics reporter Chris Carroll.

Following candidates' introductory remarks, the forum will consist of questions solely from the audience. Each candidate will have two minutes to respond to the questions.

Candidates vying for the two available seats are Patricia Cassidy, John Clemmer, Marc Gravitt, Mimi Lowery, Stephen King, incumbent councilman Denny Manning, Ann Pruett and David Swindall.

Early voting begins Wednesday.
